Juvederm

Juvederm is a safe and effective dermal filler used to address fine to moderate facial wrinkles and skin depressions such as from trauma or acne scars. Juvederm is composed of hyaluronic acid, a natural component of skin. It requires no prior allergy testing and there is virtually no risk of animal disease transmission because it is non-animal based.
Studies have demostrated that Juvederm |
lasts approximately 6 months but for some patients, can last even longer. Repeat injections can be done as often as needed for a lasting effect.
Local anesthesia is usually placed first to allow for a comfortable treatment session. Results can be seen immediately. Within one hour of Juvederm injection mild, localized swelling and pink coloration may occur but typically resolve within 1-3 days.
